The French Phonology Network (Réseau Français de Phonologie) is launching a call for abstracts for its 2026 annual conference, the twenty-second in its history. The 2026 edition will be held from July 1st to 3rd 2026 in Paris. The conference is sponsored by the research laboratories HTL (UMR 7597), LLF (UMR 7110), CRLAO (UMR 8563) and the project inIdEx EFL “Empirical Foundations of Linguistics”

Submissions anchored in any school or theoretical framework of phonology are welcome. Topics of interest may relate to phonology in general or for specific languages, along synchronic or diachronic dimensions. Topics may focus on, but are not limited to, signal processing, perception, articulation, acquisition, diachrony, dialectology, formalism, epistemology, descriptive phonology and all issues which explicitly deal with phonology and its interfaces.

A thematic session will be devoted to the history and epistemology of phonology.

Presentations will be given in French or English. Presentations will be scheduled for 30-minute time slots (20-25 minutes for presentation and 5-10 minutes for discussion).
